Why work with a wellness coach
We all have areas within our lives that we want to improve. Some of you may even be working with a doctor or therapist that has told you to change your eating, exercise or stress management habits in order to address a disease or mental health condition. Easier said than done, right? Often we know what we need to change within ourselves, but just need someone who can help us articulate the problems, set realistic goals, give us the tools to get there and (most importantly) hold us accountable. A wellness coach will be there to reward your successes and pick you up when you fall. That is what I am here for!
I can help you identify the factors in your life that trigger stress and distress and those that nurture and bring you joy
I can provide you with tools to help you meet your wellness goals
I can be your cheerleader helping you maintain momentum and enthusiasm towards meeting your goals
I can provide the accountability you need to achieve your goals
My unique approach
Integrated Wellness:
An integrated approach to wellness explores how various aspects of your life may be impacting your health. Your work, relationships, physical activity, and spirituality can have a profound impact on your health and happiness.

Bioindividuality:
Bioindividuality is the concept that no one lifestyle works for everyone. You have your own unique needs and will have a way of living that works best for you. Together, we will check-in to see what's working for you as you go through changes to improve your wellness. Some factors that we will consider to explore your own bio-individuality are lifestyle, occupation, geographic area, available resources, body type, age, culture and religion.
Environment and Health:
As a licensed landscape architect I work with cities, communities and individuals to design spaces that are pleasurable, beautiful and sustainable. At the core of my job is an understanding that our environment (our home, our work environment, our neighborhood) impacts the way we feel and act. Together, we will identify environmental factors in your life that nurture your well-being and those that trigger stress and/or other unhealthy feelings and behavior. One does not need to make a big move to improve their improvement. Small changes such as a starting a new routine of walking in a neighborhood park a few times a week can have a large impact on our stress and anxiety.
